Cards for a Cause

This is a valentine's card I made for challenge at Punky Doodle Papers blog. Cards are being collected and then will be handed out at a nursing home/assisted living center. I think this is an incredibly good idea. My dad visits a nursing home in our community and visits with the patients. I need to ask him if he would like me to make him some cards for him to pass out.

A friend emailed me this picture today. It is of my 4-H group (30 or so years ago). It brings back lots and lots of good memories.

Merry Christmas - Happy New Year

OOPS...the last couple weeks got away from me.

We had a wonderful Christmas. Lots of fun time with family and friends. Lots of parties, lots of eating, lots of laying around in our pj's all day.

Tomorrow we will celebrate the New Year with a group of our closest friends and probably be home in bed by 12:30 am. I ordered sushi for the party tomorrow, I can't wait....yummmmy.

Thankful

Regardless of what political party we represent, and whatever the outcome is...I am very thankful to live in a country where we voting for our leaders is a right and free of fear and violence. However this election turns out, it is going to be historic!
I have several Netflix movies that I will be watching tonight (instead of the news). I probably won't even check the results until tomorrow morning.

Me at Work

I had to take pictures of everyone who works in my department (Purchasing) for a Christmas party slideshow. To take my picture I shut my door, then set the timer and took a bunch of pictures. At least that way I got a picture I was happy with, and not one that someone else took.
